tips & faq

Each strand has its own unique way of teaching us. Its difficulties may vary from each person, some strand may be easy for many people and vice versa. That's why we present to you a list of short tips that may help you with your current strand.

STEM

To all incoming senior high school students who are thinking of taking a big step and stepping into the stem strand, all I can say is you should think If you want this strand because there is no turning back. Yes, all strands are hard but in STEM you will be challenged to be competitive in all aspects so be prepared. Taking stem as a strand in shs will have a big impact on your college life so take it seriously, but always think that you should enjoy every bit of it to survive shs as a stem student.

We all know that STEM can be one of the hardest strands of all since it's embedded with academics. It's not just math that is made harder, but also the other subjects, so these tips may help you generally.

  1. Fix your study habits.

  2. Be strict with your studies yet engage in learning!

  3. Set a time for studying! You must sacrifice a little time from your day to study and to recall what you've learned!

  4. Motivation may be cut off from time to time, but discipline must stay!

  5. Find friends to study with!

  6. Study consistently

  7. Always comply with requirements

  8. Working for the sake of compliance isn't a bad thing, but solely working for that purpose isn't a good thing either. Study, learn, and work for the sake of not just compliance but also the learning and the valuable lessons that you can keep.
